The Offering: Shallow Grave Porter, Heretic Brewing Co. California USA

ABV: 7%

The nose is malty molasses goodness. It almost smells like a bullion, a little salty. The mouth has smooth roasted coffee and chocolate and has a bit of sweetness. Not really bitter but enough to balance the beer. Solid approach to a porter.
